About Cash Passport Prepaid Currency Card

Cash Passport will change the way you think about your money when travelling. Providing all the security of travellers cheques with the convenience of plastic, it allows you to pre-load your travel money for safe and convenient use at millions of ATMs, shops, and restaurants worldwide.

In Australia you can choose from an ATM card which gives you access to local currency at over 1 million Visa ATMs worldwide or a Debit card with which you can also access cash at ATMs and is also accepted at over 25 million retailers that accept Visa. The Debit card is also accepted for online shopping.

The ATM card is available in seven currencies -  EU€, GB£, US$, HK$, SG$, NZ$ and AU$.

The Debit card is available in five currencies - EU€, GB£, US$, NZ$ and AU$.

What’s more it’s not linked to your bank account, it’s PIN protected (ATM card) or PIN and signature protected (Debit card) and has 24/7 Global Emergency Assistance.

In addition to your Cash Passport Card or Travellers Cheques, it is always advisable to carry some local cash to cover taxis, tips etc upon arrival overseas.

Travellers cheques are available in all major world currencies, travellers cheques are easy to use, refundable, excellent for budgeting and accepted worldwide at thousands of locations. They are the perfect complement to local currency and credit cards.

And remember, if you have any unused travellers cheques, you can keep them for your next trip -they are valid forever!

When you receive your travellers cheques

* You must sign each travellers cheque once, as soon as you receive it.

Always:

* Keep your copy of the Purchase Agreement Form in a safe place and separate from your travellers cheques.
* Remember to safeguard your travellers cheques as you would your cash.

Cashing your travellers cheques

* When you go to encash your travellers cheques, remember to take your passport or similar identification with you.
* It is important that you make a note of the numbers of the travellers cheques as you encash them. Keep this record separate from your remaining cheques.

Sending money overseas can be tricky. You need to make sure it gets to the right person, as soon as possible. 1. Wires (telegraphic transfers) allow you to transfer money electronically to most major cities around the world. Funds are deposited into a bank account of your choice, with the process usually taking no more than a few minutes. 2. Drafts (foreign currency cheques) are a great way to pay overseas and are available in a wide range of currencies.
