Harvey World Travel has an unrivalled formula in training new travel consultants through providing the combination of paid work and structured training that is specific to the workings of a Harvey World Travel shop.
Training is conducted by first class industry experienced teachers from Macquarie Commercial Collage, Harvey World Travel Franchise Managers and Harvey World Travel Trainers and is only available to individuals who have obtained employment within Harvey World Travel in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland or Western Australia.
The Exclusive Harvey World Travel Traineeship program consists of nine weeks of training over a 12-month blocked period. Once you have successfully completed the training, official recognition is given in an accredited Level III Certificate in International Retail Travel. The new employee is under contract, as a trainee for a period up to 2 years. At the end of this term, trainees will also be graded as a level IV in our internal travel consultant Qualifications Program. Professional development remains integral within the Harvey World Travel Organisation as on going training program.
Harvey World Travel is a Franchised Company, with the shops being independently owned and operated. Therefore, each Harvey World Travel shop has control of its own staffing situation as opposed to a travel consultant being employed by the Head Office location to be placed in a shop. A Harvey World Travel shop that requires a Trainee will advertise directly if a position becomes available.

Individuals are ineligible for the Traineeship Program if they already hold a Level 3 Certificate in any subject (Government approved level 3 course).
